WordCamp Harare is a local gathering that is affordable to allow people from all walks of life to attend, meet, share, and learn.<\/p>\n<p>Being a volunteer is a rewarding and fulfilling experience. And volunteering is important because without volunteers, WordCamp Harare wouldn&#8217;t be possible. It\u2019s also a unique way of showing your support for the growing Harare WordPress community and getting involved with the WordPress project itself.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Help is needed for these tasks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>helping at the registration desk<\/li>\n<li>handing out t-shirts<\/li>\n<li>introducing speakers (emcee)<\/li>\n<li>timekeeper to alert speakers<\/li>\n<li>running around with microphones (for questions at the end of each presentation)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>AS A VOLUNTEER, YOU WILL:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Get a free ticket to the event<\/li>\n<li>Be an essential part of the event on the day<\/li>\n<li>Spend quality time with the WordCamp organizing team<\/li>\n<li>Have the opportunity to meet speakers and sponsors<\/li>\n<li>Attend a volunteers\u2019 dinner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>The call for volunteers is now closed.
